About
The Samish Indian Nation has operated the Fidalgo Bay Resort as the primary enterprise of the Samish Indian Nation since 2004. In 2003, the Samish Indian Nation Tribal Council created Samcor to be the economic development arm of the Samish Indian Nation. In 2006, the Tribal Council closed the corporate entity in order to redirect the purpose of the company and refine its role within the Samish community.
In 2016, the Samish Tribal Council restructured Samcor and the entity was incorporated under Section 17 of the Indian Reorganization Act. Soon after Samcor’s incorporation, the Tribal Council appointed the members of the Board. The Samcor Board operates the Fidalgo Bay Resort and Salish Landscape Services as enterprises of the tribe.
The Samish Indian Nation is proud to be a part of the larger Anacortes and regional community and we recognize that we could not provide the services and operate our enterprises without the support of the surrounding community.

Samcor is developing a six-pump gas station and convenience store on Samish trust land near the intersection of SR20 and Almida Vista Place.
